Trade Entry

Trade Entry – This is the starting of an individual trade or option spread, usually with a expected trade holding period of 30 to 90 days. Typically trade entries are done on underlying instruments that do not already have a portfolio position. The expected risk / reward is typically decided (e.g. risk 2 to make 1) then the exact trade entry execution is managed by using limit orders on order entry.
